rifos Design Consultants was responsible for the design, planning, and implementation of extensive renovations to the Azar Building, which was originally constructed circa 1920. The creation of a new, professional, office environment included considerable revisions to the internal structure in order to accommodate current building and fire codes, multi-tenant facilities design, as well as external facia and landscaping modifications. The building's original, Spanish, mission style prompted an exploration of this theme with the prominent elevator addition on the front facade, exaggerated pilaster bases, and a roof-canopy treatment.
