WAYNE Mac GIBBON, MNSAA

Wayne MacGibbon is a native of Sydney, Nova Scotia. Mr. MacGibbon has many years experience in Maritime architecture. Mr. MacGibbon attended the Technical University of Nova Scotia, receiving his Bachelor of Architecture in 1987. He worked as a project architect with two Nova Scotia firms subsequent to his graduation, and prior to joining the Trifos Design Consultants Team.
Mr. MacGibbon joined Trifos Design Consultants in 1994 as Senior Architect, and is currently Associate Architect at Trifos Design Consultants. In that capacity, Mr. MacGibbon oversees the design, implementation, and project coordination of architectural services for many of Trifos Design Consultants major design projects, such as the following:
- St. Francis Xavier University Morrison Hall Renovations, Antigonish, Nova Scotia
- UCCB Campus-Centre Expansion, Sydney, Nova Scotia
- UCCB Technology-Enterprise Centre, Sydney, Nova Scotia
- St. Josephs Pastoral Centre, Sydney, Nova Scotia
- CND Health-Care Center, Sydney, Nova Scotia
Mr. MacGibbon has extensive experience in network administration and computer-aided design and modelling, including the creation of photo-realistic renderings, computerized animations, and imaging.
Prior to joining Trifos Design Consultants, Mr. MacGibbon was involved in the design and production process of a number of industrial, institutional, and recreational projects; including the following:
- Canada Winter Games Sports Complex/Arena, University College of Cape Breton, Sydney, Nova Scotia
- Our Lady of Fatima Church, Sydney River, Nova Scotia
- St. Marys Church, Glace Bay, Nova Scotia

Mr. MacGibbon, as Design/Project Architect, was also directly involved in all aspects of the consulting process; including project coordination, design presentations, specification writing, and building inspection, on the following projects:
