his low-rise, 38-unit apartment complex, designed in 1994, was situated near the site of a former Baronial Gothic "Castle", which had been demolished after a fire.
The proposed architectural theme for the Complex was inspired by the romantic imagery of rusticated stone, crenellated towers, stone chimneys, and the striking roof forms of the former Moxham Castle.
The apartment complex was carefully positioned on the site so as to maximize the view of Sydney Harbour, and to take advantage of the site's sloped terrain.
The project was never advanced due to market conditions being economically unfavourable at that particular time. |
