Born in Sydney, Nova Scotia, Lori Bennett graduated from Sydney Academy in 1990. Immediately upon graduation Lori attended University St. Anne from September 1990, to May 1991, in the Bachelor of Business Administration Program, majoring in French. Lori then attended the University College of Cape Breton from September 1992, to May 1993, in the C.I.S. program.

In December, 1995, Lori accepted a term position as Administrative Technician with Trifos Design Consultants, assuming responsibility for the preparation of all correspondence, processing and collation of Project Specifications and Contract Documents, input and final compilation of all proposals and reports, maintenance of project/proposal filing system, general library maintenance, and performance of all general office duties common to an Architectural Consulting Firm.

In February, 1997, Lori accepted the position of Accounting Technician with Trifos Design Consultants, assuming responsibility for all posting of all project/proposal man-hours and project disbursements. Lori was very quickly able to assume responsibility for compilation, calculation, and preparation of Client/project invoices; preparation and maintenance of payroll and staff RRSP records; calculation and presentation of job-costing information; maintenance of current work-in-progress listings; preparation of payment records and bank deposits; preparation of month-end listings; and other bookkeeping/accounting tasks common to an Architectural-Consulting Firm.

Lori's other interests include hiking, reading, and spending time with her four children.
